The Team 

We are proud to have a motivated and expert team assisting primarily survivors of abuse. This dedicated team of Solicitors, Law Clerks, Paralegals and Admin Assistants work on numerous cases to make a real difference in the lives of their clients. In response to increased demand to secure resolutions for our deserving clients, an opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader / Senior Solicitor on a full time permanent basis, based in our Sydney CBD office, to lead a team who strongly believe in handling our clients' claims with empathy with a willingness to think creatively.

  • Competently manage and progress a variety of personal injury matters, predominantly assisting survivors of abuse
  • Draft legal documents in a concise and effective manner
  • Interpret legal advice to each client's particular case to suit their level of understanding
  • Be commercially responsible and fiscally aware, in relation to running files
  • Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations
  • Take an active role in working with and mentoring junior Authors, Law Clerks, Paralegals and Administrative staff

 Required Skills

  • 5+ years PAE
  • Previous PI experience is essential, and experience in Abuse Law is preferred
  • Ability to manage large volumes of documents
  • Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters
  • Appeals and litigation expertise is essential  
  • Maturity and confidence to deal with clients, senior and junior counsel and expert witnesses
  • A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to get great results
  • Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields
  • Strong attention to detail and superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate individual who wants to take this business to the next level
