The Team

Our dedicated and friendly team in our Melbourne CBD office is seeking a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to support them on a  full time basis. This is a busy office with a bustling front reception, so you will be highly organised and efficient, whilst being able to assist the administration team in moments of downtime. 

The Role

  • First point of contact to meet and greet our clients and other external parties
  • Answering of all telephone calls for the office
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Liaising with walk in clients, addressing their enquires and referring them to the relevant area
  • Providing administrative support to the members of the Legal Team
  • Typing and amending of documents
  • Preparation of correspondence and documents
  • Support the admin team with general file management and general office administration (including mail requirements, photocopying, filing, stationery requirements, office purchases etc.)

Required Skills

  • Previous demonstrated experience in a reception-based role
  • Experience in a legal firm is highly desirable
  • Intermediate level computer skills, comfortable with MS Office
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with accuracy in typing and data entry
  • Strong work ethic and a keen interest to learn
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to strive to always maintain good working relationships
  • Excellent presentation and phone manner

Please note that this role will be a 12 month contract initially, with a view to extension or permanency, dependent on business needs.
