Shine Lawyers in Liverpool, NSW is now seeking a driven and experienced Paralegal (Common Law Personal Injury Litigation) to join the team that always aims for the best for their clients, on a permanent full-time basis

This pivotal role will see you supporting a high performing Senior Solicitor and therefore your ability to thrive in a fast paced exacting yet so rewarding environment is critical to your success. 

The Role

  • Assist Solicitors with the day-to-day operations of files/client management
  • Manage complex databases of information
  • Devise systems to support information retention and accessibility
  • Prepare matters for hearing, court documents, legal documents/reports and general correspondence
  • Prepare legal drafting and drafting of correspondence and diary management
  • Brief and liaise with counsel 
  • Attend conferences with the Barrister
  • Correspond, brief and liaise with personal injury practitioners and other experts
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and external to the organisation
  • Permanent full-time Monday - Friday

 Required Skills

  • Minimum 12 months' Personal Injury experience in a Paralegal role
  • Demonstrated experience in Personal Injury litigation essential
  • Client service oriented, strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail 
  • Good understanding of Pre-court and Court processes
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show great commitment
  • Comfortable to work under pressure when needed
